This is an amazing picture! Like everyone keeps saying, your hazel/green eyes really pop out. In photography eyes can change from photo to photo but in this photo, they look amazingly sparkly and alive!! But it's not current, huh? I thought maybe it was you now. How are you doing? Are you feeling better? In between school and being grounded from DA I've been sort of keeping an eye on your gallery to hear word if you're OK. Even Masha, my big sister, asks about you. I know it's personal so it's OK if you don't want to say. I just hope you're well and on your way to a full recovery. Best wishes to you and your family as you get better.
Hello Yes, I am starting to feel better. I'm not fully recovered though (that will probably take another few months). And yes, this photo is actually from 2011. I found it recently in my archive and Adam liked it, so I thought I'd share it in our DevArt gallery. I actually have a more recent self portrait that was shot about a month ago (I'll be sharing that soon when I have access to my laptop).
Thank you very much for the well wishes (and for the compliments on our photo). I truly appreciate it
oohh! Sorry, I'm not used to people reading my photo's descriptions and actually responding to any questions I might ask. I am sorry I made that assumption
As for your response, I'm sure there's much more to your story than "depressing" I am going to take on the role of a much passed-by inspirational poster on a high school classroom wall and poorly generalize your initial response and I will say this, "It is never too late to be what you might have been."
I hope you take life by the reigns and steer it whichever way you want. In the meantime, the solace that I can offer you is lightly felt internet high fives
Also, on a random note, thank you for continuing to watch my work and comment on said work. I truly appreciate it
