The bottom half of the mask is just a painter's mask be bought at a home improvement store. We just removed the 2 large cylinder filters on either side so that it wouldn't be so bulky. The top part of the mask (the goggles) are actually mine. They are vintage replica goggles, fashioned after those worn by German bike messengers during WWII.

All I can think of is how warm and moist it must be inside that mask. =D It's pretty cool though. It's probably pretty empowering because you can be whatever you want to me because no one knows who you are and you act any way you want because no one can see you. :nod:

Well, Shadow works hard, so breathing in that mask can get a bit rough at times. We're on a tight budget, but when we have enough funding, one of the first things we want to do is get Shadow a new mask so that breathing will be a easier :)

And yes, there is a certain empowerment that comes along with wearing a mask. You can be exactly who you've always wanted to be, and you get people to pay attention (because you're out of the norm). So, it's a pretty positive experience for our crew so far :)
