*This Indian Peafowl was in the middle of fighting with an African Guinea Fowl
(don't worry, neither of them were hurt). The peacock was getting frustrated, so he
threw his head back and started screaming. It scared the heck out of the Guinea Fowl
(who ended up running away) and surprised me too! (dang, he was loud!) :noes:
From this experience, I've come to the conclusion that the inside
of a peacock's mouth kind of scares me. :noes:

It does look like an alien's mouth, I'd say... Not that I've seen many aliens, not to mention inside their mouth. :)

If you like Peacocks, you should definitely head back to the Brookfield Zoo soon! There is a very large group of the birds roaming the grounds(males and females). :)

I went a long while back, though. I saw only one peafowl, a peacock. They were roaming freely that time. I guess now they added more! :D

Do you have photos of turkeys?

:giggle: No, I do not have any photos of turkeys. None of the zoos in my area have turkeys. Although further south in the state that I live in, there are wild turkeys that live in the forests along the country roads. They're more easy to spot in the winter though (it's the end of Spring here now).

Why do you ask?
