Thank you :) My older camera (which I was using here) doesn't have a fast shutter, so I was surprised to even capture this. I wish I could have captured ALL of the hummingbirds in one photo (there were about 20 of them surrounding me :) ).

Where were you that you were surrounded by that many hummingbirds ? The most I have ever seen in my backyard and one time is two............

I was in Peoria IL visiting my grandmother. Her house is backed up to a forest and she lives in a relatively quiet neighborhood (surrounded by forest areas). I guess it helps that she also has about 6 hummingbird feeders set up right outside her front door :) It's fun to just watch them because they squeal at eachother and fight over the feeders.

I love how clear the hummingbird's face and body are, while the background and wings are kind of blurry. :) It gives a cool effect.
