oh! The Threstral is actually a toy figure. It was released exclusively in the UK but was soon discontinued after its released because of the poor quality of the figure (it is VERY thin, VERY fragile and can break quite easily). I shot a photo of the Threstral's face and used my own photoshop actions on the photo itself ;)

I'm probably going to be shooting photos of the figure's entire body soon (because I've gotten a couple people asking about it).

Oh ya I heard about that figure, I would personally kill for one but your lucky you have it.

When you do shoot those pictures I can't wait to see them.

I can't remember what the book said exactly, but I'm just wondering - Do you have to have watched someone die, or just see them at least a minute or so after...? 'Cause if these were real, I'm wondering if I'm 'qualified/privileged enough' to see 'em.

But great job anyway! ^_^

If I remember correctly, you just had to personally experience death in order to be able to see the Threstral ;)

Thank you!

It looks fantastic except for that eyeball, which doesn't seem to match the rest of the image. Still beautiful.

Thank you ;) And you know what, I do agree about the eye. There is something about the pupil that I just don't really like. Do you think I should just completely get rid of it? (and make the eye completely white?)

Maybe try blending it in more with the white so that the pupils are still detectable but less defined.

The Threstral is actually a rare figure that was released exclusively in the UK. A friend of mine that lived in the UK purchased one fo me as a surprise gift. I believe the figures were discontinued, because they were so fragile and could not be played with without breaking almost immediately.

(thanks for checking out my work ;) ).
