Day 115 - I heard you thought I was cute by MonsterBrand Day 115 - I heard you thought I was cute by MonsterBrand

photo *MonsterBrand

This is the first time I've been able to see a Bat-eared Fox in person.
They were unbelievably charming
The quality of this photo isn't that great, because this photo was shot
in near darkness (I did not use any flash, as that disturbs the animals).

*Part of my "One photo a day for an entire year" Project.

Near darknesss?! You did a great job with your leveling tool because the contrast and light came out really balanced.:highfive: And she is very cute.=D Could you imagine the heads you would turn if you walked down the street with this cutie.:giggle: They have domesticated foxes in Russia. It was a big experiment in domestication. [link] The story is pretty amazing.

Holy cow :noes: That is probably one of the coolest things I've ever seen.  Although, I'm not a huge fan of those tiny cages, but a lot of those foxes are so 'domesticated' and good-natured.  Oh my gooooooosh! I feel like having a childish tantrum right now.  You've gone and done it Aoife! I want a fox now and it's all your fault.  I am determined!!! :noes:

My sissy found this link for you if you don't already have it.=D  Of course, it will cost you just under 9,000 American.  Oi!:omg:  Maybe if your Plague movie is successful, you can make a lot of money and buy yourself a real Russian fox.:w00t!:  Oooh...:giggle:

:giggle:  I wants one too, but alas, you have to go all the way to Russia to get one.:(  They're so amazing though, aren't they?  Those Russians!  Always up to something.:giggle:  I think it's bloody brilliant to domesticate a fox because they're so beautiful.  I have a friend who has a ferret, which is basically a domesticated wild animal, but it's such a cool character. It  loves to crawl inside your clothes and come out your neck or out your sleeve.:giggle:  They're made for burrowing into tight places so going through your clothing is an adventure for them. Hers went up my dress (I was wearing a babydoll), around my bottom, tried to get into my knickers, stopped it, then it went straight away until he popped his head out at my chest and just sat there and chattered at people then it dove down, crawled around and up my back, back out the back of my neck and onto my shoulders and then it just fell asleep.  No kidding. Asleep.  Just like that.:omg:  It liked to cuddle.  She calls it Ron Weasely.  Get it?:giggle:  I love Ron Weasely.  And yep, we always say his full name.  That's what makes it fun.

Well I imagine I might see you with a fox someday.  That's going to be amazing because I will be able to say, I inspired that.  Good luck!!:w00t!:
